A selection of works from 18 artists from Finlands dynamic live art scene.

Curated by Suvi Parrilla and Leena Kela, both emerging artists who are active in the Finnish performance art scene, the DVD features edited video documentation of between 5 and 10 minutes in length of performances from both emerging and well established artists based in Finland.

This is a ‘double layer’ DVD disc and contains over 150 minutes of video material documenting 18 separate performances. Background information and contact details are also provided for each artist.

A 90 minute video of Black Market Internatinonal performing at Les Halles, Brussels. As well as providing extensive documentation of a recent BMI performance the DVD also includes a unique 35 minute lecture written in 2005 by BMI member Jürgen Fritz. It gives an overview of BMI's work from 1985 to 2005 and explores some of central elements of approach to performance.
