October 1996 to January 1998

I established Hollywood Leather in October 1996 as a new venue dedicated to the presentation of performance art. As Curator I was responsible for programming all events and managing the venue, including financial planning, audience development, marketing and fund raising.

Director of Live Arts

February 1998 to May 1999

As Director of Live Arts I was responsible for generating and managing the ICA’s programme of live events including performance, dance, music, theatre and multimedia work. Other responsibilities included management of the Department’s budget, administration of the programme with the support of the Live Arts Officer, inclusion on the ICA’s Management Team and liaison with all other internal departments and external agencies.
